Meet Michelle
Michelle founded Michelle Reichel Interiors in 2017 and decided to go full time in 2020 when the pandemic helped us all realize how important it is to live in a space that makes you happy and fits your lifestyle. She loves designing spaces that make her clients’ lives better: with style, personality, and functionality in mind.
She grew up designing before she knew it could be a profession, obsessed with her Barbie dream house and The Sims. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she studied both Interior Design and Oil Painting. After working in both retail and commercial design, Michelle decided to come back to her “first love” with residential in 2017 and has never looked back.
Michelle lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband Ross and two sons, Rowan & Remington (Remy). She loves to travel and feels blessed to have seen many countries that inspire her work: Morocco, Turkey, Greece, and Italy to name a few. But when she’s not traveling or designing, her happy place usually includes a steaming cup of coffee and deep conversations about life with the people she loves.
“our spaces shape the way we live our lives, our day-to-day. Investing in the design of your home means a lot more than making it look good. it can be one of the most meaningful changes we make. a great home design can spark order or creativity, promote solace or encourage community, bring focus or inspire us to branch out.”
